Welcome!

I’m Ashley, the founder of Her Sober Mind. I created this safe space to support women in addiction recovery and mental health struggles. Regaining the power we once had begins with feeling empowered, seen, and celebrated, for every single win. Because nobody deserves to suffer in silence.

My journey with recovery from substance use disorder has been one of deep transformation. When I chose to step away from alcohol and cocaine (among other drugs) for good, at first I was absolutely terrified. I didn't know how I was supposed to function without it, but I knew I couldn't function with it, so I let it go. I later realized that along with saying goodbye to the cycle that I'd lost myself in, I was reclaiming myself. Addiction is an identity thief (reference intended), and I am taking back my identity! i.e. relearning how to navigate social situations, set boundaries, discover interests, speak to myself kindly, build healthy habits and genuine relationships, etc.; every day is a new opportunity to continue the progress and inspire someone, and to become inspired myself!

Throughout my recovery, I've realized how powerful it is to have a supportive community and reminders of why we choose this path every day. That’s why I created a brand and community dedicated to inspiring and uplifting women who are navigating sobriety. Through thoughtfully designed apparel and products, I want to offer something more than just clothing. I want to provide daily affirmations of strength, resilience, and self-love. Because you become what you surround yourself with, and you deserve to feel comfortable and happy in your own skin. Every piece in the shop is made with the intention of reminding you how far you’ve come and how much you deserve a life filled with clarity, joy, and purpose! Whether you’re new to sobriety or years into your journey, Her Sober Mind is here to walk with you. Because recovery isn’t just about what we leave behind; it’s about everything we gain along the way. And we gain so much!

That being said, it took me a lot of mess-ups to get to where I am today-I'm still not perfect, and I never will be, but I'm damn sure better than I used to be and that's the whole thing! Recovery is not a linear path. Every path looks different, but I'm here to support you in getting back up if you fall. And staying up, even if it takes a few times. Remember: some of our greatest accomplishments in life stem from our greatest failures.

Thank you for being here. You are strong. You are worthy. You are never alone!
